Books are man’s best friend.
Any discipline of study requires material of study, references and information collated at one place; library. We are moving rapidly in technology sophisticated world but hard copy is a preferred medium chosen by students from ancient eras. Our library wardrobe consists huge quantum of books split between authors, topics, subjects, magazines and newspapers. An entire silent zone with mechanized search system is serviced by librarian who is skilled enough to handle all concerns of students. Overall we have a stock of 1000 books.

LIBRARY

Research databases: Offers access to academic databases such as JSTOR, Google Scholar, and others to support
research and assignments. - Offers quiet study areas, group study rooms, and computer workstations, making it an ideal environment for
Focused studying and collaboration. - Provides library services like printing, scanning, and internet access to support students’ academic work.
Librarians assist students with research methods, sourcing credible materials, and using library tools to find relevant
academic resources. - Libraries often offer workshops or seminars on research skills, citation styles, and information literacy.
The library offers textbooks and reference books for various courses, helping students avoid the financial burden
of purchasing all required textbooks. - Libraries may have special collections related to the college’s history or specific academic fields, offering unique
research opportunities. - Many libraries provide access to computers, printers, scanners, and multimedia equipment, which can support
students’ academic and creative projects. - Libraries offer quiet spaces for individual study or places to unwind, which are essential for student well-being.
Membership. - Rich Collection of Pharmaceutical sciences reference books, Textbooks, Social Science books and General reading books on (Management, Autobiographies, Motivational, Health, Communication and Soft skills) in English and Marathi.
- Conducts orientation programs for newly admitted students of F.Y.D. Pharm and F.Y.B. Pharm courses.
- Provides guidance in respect of research books, journals and websites to users for their research and technical events.
Library Rules
- RULES FOR CIRCULATION
- Library is open from 09.00 am to 6.00pm on all working days.
- Library observes Open Access System.
- Students are not allowed to make any kind of mark on the library book, failing to which he/she will be fine as per the rules.
- Borrowers are responsible for the book lost, torn or any kind of damage (tearing of pages, underlining, writing on books or damaging of binding). The lost/damaged book shall be replaced by borrower with latest edition.
- Ask for the issue of Specific book only on circulation counter and library staff will provide the book.
- Please ensure that the referred books are kept in the respective book racks before leaving the section.
- Do not mark or fold any pages of the Library books.
- Allowed up to 2 books per subject for 15 days only for the faculty member.
- Renewals: – Books can be renewed once or twice for another 7 days if book is not reserved by anyone. The user must return book to library.
- Non- Circulating Materials
- Reference Books, Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Journals, Magazines & Other Specified Material are generally for library use only.
- Projects, Project Report, Theses, such Materials must be return to the designated place after use in library.
- The book titles with stamps as “Reference Book” will not be issued.
- RULES FOR READING HALL
- Reading Hall is available for the Students and Staff.
- Students should always possess their Identity card.
- Students should sign in the Attendance Register before entering the Reading Hall.
- Mobile phone must be kept on silent mode while entering in library.
- Eatables are not allowed in the Library.
- Only one book will be issued for reading at reading hall.
- In case, any problems please consult the Librarian / Library Members.
- RULES FOR DIGITAL LIBRARY
- Students and staff should enter his/her name in the log book for access to the Digital Library.
- Internet is for academic purpose only.
- External devices like pen drive, CD’s are not allowed in the Digital Library.
